A Pao Homestay is a community motel of the Mong ethnic group located in Cha Day hamlet, Pa Co commune, Mai Chau district, Hoa Binh province. This is a Homestay located on a hillside at an altitude of about 1,200 m above sea level with beautiful natural scenery and fresh climate attracting many tourists from near and far.

This beautiful homestay takes the name of the owner. A Pao Homestay has rooms for tourists with the typical Mong ethnic style, accommodating about 20 people and 4 private bedrooms for visitors who want to rest and have their own space. The bedrooms all have views overlooking the hills, are equipped with full amenities, standard toilets, below are flower gardens and surrounded by cool green tea hills.

Coming to A Pao homestay in the summer, visitors will enjoy the cool air because the temperature here is only from 20 - 27 degrees in the Summer, feel the cold in the morning or at sunset. Here, visitors can enjoy special dishes such as black chicken, banh pig, pork, pork sausage hanging on the kitchen counter, banh day (sticky rice cake), vegetables all are clean products made by local people, processors imbued with local culinary identity, tourists can watch ethnic cultural performances, beeswax painting, clothes dyeing, fabric drying after color dyeing, and visit the night market every Saturday night with local people here. In particular, Homestay A Pao is close to Mong Space - a gallery of Mong culture with many unique artifacts of the Mong ethnic group in Mai Chau, Hoa Binh. Tourists can visit the gallery to understand more about culture of Mong ethic minority.

From here you can explore and experience many interesting things, first of all, wake up in the morning to watch the sunrise, visit the vast poetic Shan Tuyet tea hills, and visit the ancient Shan Tuyet tea area (big and old tea trees). Next, go through the old forest, walk along the rice fields and corn fields to reach peach orchards laden with fruit in the summer, plum orchards with white flowers blooming on the hills in the spring, and you can go hunting for clouds in the Cong Troi area (Heaven Gate area) in Hang Kia commune, where there are lots of clouds floating all year round.
