Da Bac is a highland district of Hoa Binh Province, home to many beautiful landscapes. In addition to the forests of Pu Canh nature reserve, majestic mountain ranges, and villages that still have the identities of ethnic minorities, there are also many beautiful caves, including Song Cave, a masterpiece of nature, an interesting tourist destination for those who love sports, exploring tourism.

About 15 km from the center of Da Bac district, about 500 m from Hoa Binh Lake, Song cave is located halfway up Ha Trong mountain range in Duong hamlet, Vay Nua commune, Da Bac district. 


“Stone flowers” in the Song Cave

Song Cave is known as a masterpiece of water and rock over millions of years. As one of the naturally beautiful caves of Hoa Binh province, the cave is deeply rooted in the mountain with a total length of nearly 800 m, divided into large and small cave arches containing many aesthetic and artistic values. The strips of stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars, etc. with many interesting shapes and colors have created Song Cave as a museum of the art of creation.

When entering the main palace of the cave, visitors will notice the high ceiling, wide cave that can accommodate hundreds of people, fresh and cool air. The huge stone blocks have made the majesty and splendor of the monument. Exploring and learning Song Cave, we can admire the beauty of stone flowers and stalactites, let our souls fly with imagination, return and harmonize with the natural origin.

This scenic relic is located on the space of Hoa Binh Lake tourist area, not far from the Bo Temple cultural and historical relic site, near the villages of the Muong and Dao ethnic groups that still retain their identity. Tourists can visit and learn about the culture of the ethnic groups here. Song Cave is really one of the interesting destinations in the attractive tourist route of Hoa Binh Lake tourist area, contributing to enriching the local tourism types.
