Carry out the task of propagandizing and promoting tourism in Plan 31/KH-BCDDL dated February 17, 2023 of the Provincial Tourism Steering Committee on tourism development in Hoa Binh province in 2023. Department of Culture and Sports Sports and Tourism of Hoa Binh province has focused on organizing and performing assigned tasks well.

Right from the beginning of the year, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism advised the Provincial People's Committee to organize a tourism stimulus program to invite travel businesses to introduce tourism incentive and promotional programs of a certain number of tourism business units in the province to attract tourists to Hoa Binh. 

Leaders of the eight expanded Northwwest provinces  attended tourism promotion conference in Ho Chi Minh City

During the year, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism promoted participation in tourism programs and events, and displayed tourism promotion booths at: The 19th Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival 2023; Culture and Tourism Week of the Northwest Provinces in Ho Chi Minh City; Northwest Culture and Tourism Week in Can Tho city; Culture - Tourism Week of Dat To in 2023 in Phu Tho province, etc. In particular, advised the Provincial People's Committee to successfully organize the Festival of Community Tourism Villages of the Northwest Provinces expanded in Mai Chau district with the participation Participants of 11 community tourism villages from the Northwest provinces. The festival introduced the image of community tourism in the Northwest provinces in general and community tourism in Hoa Binh province in particular to many domestic and international tourists. Festival of Community Tourism Villages of the eight expanded Northwest Provinces in Mai Chau, Hoa Binh

By promoting propaganda and promotion, participating and organizing tourism events. The image of Hoa Binh tourism has been spread in the media and attracted many tourists. It is estimated that in 2023, Hoa Binh Province  welcome about 3,800,000 tourist visitors, an increase of 21.5% compared to the same period last year, reaching 108.6% of the year's plan; of which: International visitors: 450,000 arrivals. Domestic visitors welcomed about: 3,350,000 arrivals, an increase of 12% compared to the same period last year, reaching 109.8% of the year's plan. Total revenue from tourists is estimated at: 4,000 billion VND, increasing by 10.7% compared to the same period last year, reaching 102.6% of the year plan.

Good implementation of tourism promotion work in 2023 has contributed an important part to attracting tourists as well as completing the tourism targets set for Hoa Binh province in 2023.
